Please know that if you had to leave a pet behind during the hurricane, it is entirely possible that it has been relocated to Los Angeles (and I imagine other communities) Hundreds of pets are being Fostered until the original owners can be located. the Los Angeles Animal Rescue groups have been bringing found pets form the hurricane zone back to Califronia for Foster care. If you are looking for your pet, every pet is being tagged and photograghed for PETFINDERS. I apologize that I do not know if it is Pet Finders .org or .com (I just handle the pets themselves then we receive a truckload) But people should know that several hundred pets have arrived here and are waiting to be sent home.
