Hello All,
We've seen the destruction and the immense need of the people affected by the hurricane as well as the flooding in New Orleans. I believe there is no need to try to convince anyone how dire the situation is for so many there. In order to help do our part with whatever tools we have at our disposal, this week The Crystal Method, Simply Jeff, and all the Boom Box residents (RobTronik, Oscure, Ooah) are coming together to have a benefit show. Also, my employer Napster is coming to the table to give out shirts and cool stuff to those that come that night! Many thanks to the Mor Bar, Michael Hart, and the staff there for their ongoing support as well.
This Thursday all proceeds from the show will go to the American Red Cross. This is a good chance to pool our resources together and celebrate music, life, and each other, while also raising a significant amount of money (hopefully!) to help those in dire need.
So, please share this email and spread the word! Be there early and come be part of the breakbeat community while we celebrate life, raise money, and hopefully make some positive difference in the catastrophe that has just occured.
